About
Back in 2018, when having to make a career choice between Fine Arts and Law, I chose the latter. But continued to make art, for no jury, for no grades but just for the love of creating. I'm a self-taught artist with work focused on architecture and landscapes, as seen on my trips and travels. One rustic abandoned building, a temple with intricate details, crisp landscapes, traditional prints and patterns - these mostly inspire my work.
In my work, I use gouache in a fluid way - sometimes watered down for a light, watercolor-like effect, and sometimes applied opaquely for sharper details. Its versatility and matte finish help me balance looseness with control in my paintings.
You may see me in some cafe in Bangalore, making art on a table with a sketchbook, paints, paintbrushes, ceramic matka and palette, coffee and a huge mess.
